It wasn't super obvious, but it was intentional. Clearly, in the other rounds, there was a few times Lara led with his head.

    I like the draw.

    Lara was fighting dirty.

I thought they were both fighting dirty, and I didn't see anything that indicated an intentional butt.

I had Lara winning myself, and I thought he was far more effective than given credit for by the commentating time. No major issue with a draw, but I had it for Lara myself.

I had Lara winning also but preferred a draw becuase a rematch is possible in the future after both men clean out the division. I don't think the head but was done on purpose.

Lara clearly purposely headbutt Vanes. Look at the slow motion replay lara turn his head straight down to purposely headbutt vanes. I know biased cubans like cubano will disagree of course. Lara was obviously fighting dirty.

You mean they both were fighting dirty, right? You conveniently overlook Martirosyan hitting the kidneys.

Look at the replay in slow motion. Lara clearly purposely headbutted vane. It was a dirty move by lara who was leaning his head from first round to the clash of heads. And lara was holding like crazy. I bet hopkins and lara have been hanging out alot.

Huh? Replays in slow motion shows it. Look at the way lara lean his head. It was dirty and disgusting.

I don't think it was intentional, and both fighters were bending the rules.

The first round of Mares-Moreno already has the potential to be even dirtier, however. At least based on that first round!

Who started? I believe it was lara who not only was leaning with his head but he was wrestling with headlocks and was clinching alot. This was like watching hopkins boring fights.

yea, because a fight being stopped due to a clash of heads involving a southpaw and orthodox fighter has NEVER happened before. dude just gtfo and watch the moreno fight, this is nothing new and will continue to happen in future southpaw vs orthodox matchups. stop playing stupid acting like this is something completely foreign to the sport.
