Frampton is facing Kiko in January in Belfast, so it's possible.

    Me to.

There might be more to this. Hearn said Alexanders people have made them an offer, which they have acepted in principal. I found that quite surprising as I would have thought it would be Hearn doing all the bidding.

Maybe we are just to cynical when it comes to trusting promoters.

Having said that, Devon isn't a draw so if he wants a big pay day against one of the major 147 pounders. He'll need to keep hold of that belt. Perhaps that's all it is.

Devon & Brook both need the belt, more than the belt needs them.

yep, but if GoldenBoy's offer was good with no extra options and it's fair all round, then why bid for it and bring it to sheffield? It would cost EH millions, where if he accepts in principal, then GB pay.....:p

The jab is a key here.

    Has Kell faced many southpaws?

I'm not aware of many, the only I can think of is Mcintyre, Dom Ingle says Kell excels against southpaws in sparring etc..

He went through a load of them in British title fights. Jones, Elwell and McIntrye and Lomax.

Because he has a good jab and good straight puncher he does well with southpaws as there the key punches.

Level of those guys to Alexander far different though obviously.

Oh right. It's an intriguing one. A fundamentally sound but basic Kotelnik was able to make it look quite straightforward but on the other hand I can see Kell having problems with a lot of the angle's that Alexander gives, even in the break where I've seen Alexander turn his opponents out so he can pull a shot off. If Brook can off-set him consistently then he can win, his reflex reliant defence may prove to be his downfall here though, I reckon.

"It will be a welterweight card, stacked with welterweights. It is a very deep division, so we want to showcase many different welterweights who are right there and breaking through. It will be at least a tripleheader, on Showtime, possibly a quadrupleheader and there will be as well a Showtime Extreme with two fights - so we could see, possibly, six welterweight fights that night," Schaefer said.

GBP done something similar a few years ago when they done a "Lightweight Lightning" show which featured Katsidis and Valero.

    Could be a fun card.

Sounds great. Guessing Maidana, Ortiz and maybe Malignaggi might be amongst those featuring?

Btw what happened to all those saying Eddie will put up massive money to get the fight over here?
