At least concede the Lopez fight was disgraceful. A so called title defense against a guy that had ONE win at 147? I gotta admit that soured me on Canelo quite a bit because there were legit contenders in the division available. Lara had just looked good in the Hearns fight and is with the same promoter.

I use to think Lara would have a real shot at Canelo but after his past 2 performances I think Canelo would win a clear decision over him I think the Issue with Lara is not his boxing ability or defense its the fact that he sometimes takes too long to throw a punch and rather wait and by that time Canelo will be scoring on combinations. I sure hope Lara is not this era's Clottey, Canelo beats Marto up too.
Vanes showed up.....but Lara pulled a Bradley and ran all night....he did a little more than TIM showed us against Pac....but for the most part Lara got lucky he didn't lose that fight on the cards. He did **** the whole night....Vanes at least tried to make the fight.
