It was a loaded division with available SWW's lining up to take on Canelo. Just because GBP brought in an opponent that obliterated their opponent means nothing. Lopez has balls as big as my squirrel but it was always a mismatch that should not have been made. An 'eliminator' between a WW and JWW to fight for the SMW title is just disgusting.

Do you think HBO would have green lighted Lopez/Alverez?

Canelo is not interested in these guys because they are his own size, canelo is a fraud and anyone can look good fighting a guy smaller and not very good or old men and shot to $h1t fighters, when and if he steps up the competition you will see how hyped this kid is, Lara started to find his distance by the fifth or sixth round and would had stopped Vanes there's not a doubt in my mind, he stun him a couple of times and was ready to put a beating on the Armenian, but Canelos defenders will always have something to say about a 154 fighter, and praise a 140lbs or a over the hill boxer...

And it was you troll, he won the fight easy, and when he started to fuk him up the clash of heads happened and Vanes didn't need a doctor to stop it, he did it himself, you all know that 9-12 was going to be hell for Vanes and why do you think Canelo only fights toddlers and old men? He can't handle real men his own size...

 

Bottomline Canelo wrecks either one of those cats that fought last night. Lara is too tentative and is afraid of getting hit, Vanes is too slow and basic, I'm not trying to dickride Canelo but it's obvious he's the best of the three fighters being discussed.

Actually he didn't "win the fight easily"...even though based on perceived talent he should have. Vanes pressed him early and (not because I say so but based on Lara's actions) made him afraid of his power. I agree Lara had began to land the left hand some, but it didn't have much effect on Vanes. Canelo is better than either guy, I think Lara would wilt, and I think Vanes would go out on his shield...but go out just the same.

 

I've said before that it is much easier for me to judge a fight in a small venue so I don't often get on judges. The fact all three of the ringside judges and Lederman had it close should tell ya something.
