T.K.O. in 6

I hereby declare two official holidays in honor of TKO6:

June 21st (date of The Event) & August 6th (anniversary of thread creation).

We'll call them TKO6 Day One and TKO6 Day Two.

On each, starting in 2013, we shall organize TKO6 viewing parties and each able member will have friends and family over to marvel at the last great HW putting a flourish on his ATG career.

Drinking game idea: take a shot every time an uppercut lands.

Recipe suggestions: Razorblade dreadlock cannolis, pizza-face bagel bites with beady little brown olive Vitali eyes, cupcakes frosted to resemble the WBC & IBO titles, edible fried dough scorecards with chocolate chips arranged to spell out "56-58".

Costume options: Larry Merchant w/ vodka glass, Vitali Klitschko w/ skin flaps, Lou Moret w/ bowtie.

 

Oh, one more thing, very important...

As guests begin to depart as the bash winds down on the 21st, see them off by saying "I promise you a rematch!"

Then invite a whole new batch of people for TKO6D2 a couple of months later, and when the returning would-be participants show up turn them away at the door with your regrets that you didn't stock up on enough salsa. Still be sure to wish them best of luck and Happy TKO6 Day, however. You don't want to be rude.
