Wach's Glove Was Missing Padding & Vitali Caught It

Maybe there wasn't that much padding missing and maybe this is way more common than we think? A lot of us, like to think that we're such knowledgeable experts, but really we don't know **** all about the true insights of the sport. Perhaps Chef might enlighten us a bit about what took place there and whether or not it would be considered abnormal, controversial and punishment worthy.

 

Apologies, should have been clearer. If a large amount of padding has been removed from a glove/both gloves, a ban should be enforced.

I'm not naive, the boxing business is as dirty as any other sport. I'm very confident things go on behind the scenes at a lot of fights that people would not want brought to light.

 

Was there any official protest from Klitchko team,
or from boxing commission or from organizers of the event?

... if not then I do not see why this thing is getting so much attention?

Puetz, president of the BDB, asks a guy named Martin whether he was present the whole time. Martin then says that he was and that the gloves were wrapped up and stuff. So if there was something wrong with the gloves, it was before Team Wach could even touch the gloves.

 

I'm thinking Vitali just didn't like the feel of that glove. I've tried on gloves and not liked them before, then grabbed another pair. Hell, I do that pretty much every time I'm buying new gloves.

I don't speak German, but imagine the conversation would have gotten a little heated, at least animated, if Vitali actually thought cheating was taking place.

Can't tell if trolling or just an ignorant, dumb reply.
Anyway, I'm certain more will come to light in the following days. Seems pretty clear what they tried to pull, so hopefully there's consequences.

Utter bull****. Look at how Wach turned and walked away when he saw Vitali come in and start inspecting the gloves. He knew they were seconds away from getting caught. Worse than what Margarito did and on par with what Luis Resto did. :fire

 

Except that there is no evidence or proof that the glove had been tampered with. So no, with the information available, I cannot understand the amount of heat Wach is getting (only on this forum btw) because it is completely unsubstantiated and based on the wild imaginations of a few posters here.
