The one worry in this fight, as always with Hopkins is that he will come to rob the fans of their hard earned money, looking for a cowardly way out of the fight like he did v Robert Allan, Joe Calzaghe, Jones 2, and Dawson 1 by feigning injury.

Cleverly is the exact opposite, he comes for a tare up, comes to entertain the fans and put on a show. It would be horrible if Clev brought a couple o thousand fans to Vegas and then Hopkins pulled one of his stinking tricks.

been sayin for months that if this fight happens, hopkins is gonna school cleverly...cleverly has no experience at the top level and his wide (light) punches are open for a guy like hopkins to exploit.....he'll be lucky to not get stopped

    how many he lost?

wasn't he considered the main man at 175 before his last fight?

If the American judges and officials hadn't entertained Hopkins and his dirty tactics, what would his record look like EG?

Not sure pal, i've lost count of the number of fights bernard hasn't managed to win. When you look back at Hopkins entire career its true to say that he has never once beaten an elite fighter at a fair weight.

Looking at the guys Hopkins lost to, would you say Hopkins has a clear stylistic weakness against fast two handed fighters at a fair weight? If so, looks like he could be in for a long night against Clev

Hopkins, at this stage, has trouble with versatility. Pascal was limited, so was Pavlik. He only had to take one weapon away, and neither guy was terribly active.

defintiely, Hopkins has had that many struggles in his career that there is a clear blueprint on how to beat him. Clevs speedy 2 hand attacks and relentless workrate means that Hopkins doesn't stand a chance in this fight. I genuinely think that Hopkins will look for a way out of this fight inside 8 rounds. Hopefully the referee will be neutral and see through his bull****.

BHop made it close vs Calzaghe and Taylor X2.

Dawson, and RJJ kept BHop at range, so they clearly beat him Calzaghe and Taylor were not able to do that so they barely beat him. If you take it to the inside with Hopkins, he got the skill and foul tactics to rough anyone up, and Clev likes to bang on the inside. This is a good fight regardless.

Major Player in the 175 lbs division or even at 168 lbs, yo better have some respect for the man icon legend or else some may go straight against you personally. I take it very personal when idiots aim at Hopkins birth certificate like they are about to discover gunpowder from baby's powder. Watchout or stfu.

You guys over the pond always severly overrate your fighters. The dude is ****in trash and even if he wins its only because Hopkins is 147 years old. Goddamn ya'll are some pathetic dick riders. Just ****in' terrible :-/
