I'm actually rooting for Cleverly.. we need a new big name in the division... even tho Cleverly does seem more limited than Hopkins even at this age

Hopkins looked pretty poor against Dawson. Maybe that was more to do with Dawson, but I believe he's finally aged past the point where his body can no longer hold up to give him the time to school youngsters.

 

Cleverly gonna beat Bhop and anyone who thinks Sad Glass Jawson has a chance after his disgraceful quit job vs Ward needs to reassess their boxing understanding. The fact that Cleverly is champ and is willing to face Bernard in the Us just shows how confident Clev is. He'll UD BHop then go on to unify with a beat down on Sad Chad.

I've been a longtime fan of Bernard's but it's painfully obvious to me that Clev is totally wrong for him at this point.Clev has a very high workrate and unless BH stops him,I can't see how he can possibly outscore Clev.
To be honest,I think Clev's the worst opponent for him in that division right now.Bernard would stand off all night,waiting for a mistake while Clev banks every round.
No contest a few years back, but stacked in Clev's favour now.

 

Whats the key to beating Hopkins Uh??? Pressure and more pressure backed by a very high workrate and a good engine with a decent chin Thats Cleverly for ya.

Have a reality check some of you`se even a lathargic plodder like Jawson beat hopkins

 

Yeah just like you overate yours and ride their dicks sad fact is you dont even know your doing it as its become a way of life for some of you`se.

 

Hopkins might struggle with the fast pace but hes too too experienced and clever for cleverly !! I see cleverly starting very fast picking up the first round then hopkins works him out and schools him the remainder of the fight. Could be completely wrong if clevelry keeps him at range but im not sure because i just dont think hes fought anyone close to level of hopkins. How many potential superstars careers has Hopkins ruined?

Both Pavlik and Dawson will or already have accomplished more than Cleverly. Lacy fits the criteria of being overhyped .
