francis mentioned jason alchin - does anyone remember after the 88 gf when his 7 year old son ran on the field to be with him? it's not really strange but i remember the commentators thought it was notable considering he was only 21 at the time.

I don't remember that but I do remember Alchin taking a bomb in his own in-goal and getting completely smashed by Ellery Hanley and managing to hold on to the ball. Showed lots of courage.

See where you're coming from but he was on good money at Parra. Happy to free up more room to be honest. Rumour has it Willie Tonga is next, with Wigan sniffing about. I'd cut him too. Apparently Parra are in for Gareth Hock from Wigan, who's got plenty of wraps on him for Wigan supporters.

I'd be all for willie to go:deal

He's emblematic of everything wrong with Parra over the last 10 years. Bring him up from the jnrs let him go when he's about to peak. Get him back when he's a shell. Expect to see Tony williams back in the B&G at the end of his career too:!:

Willie is already gone Im hearing.

He was a super player when he was younger but hasnt really had a season go by without getting a substantial injury.
