I was thinking that he better be careful not to gas himself after round 8. But he took the pedal off the gas a bit in round 9 and was able to recuperate his energy.
He seemed a little tired but thats only normal, those were not soft shots in the 8th. Seemed to have a pretty good grasp on how much energy he could burn while not exhausting himself.
True story. With one correction though. As to the origin of this technique. FIRST SNV taught the monks, and only THEN they began giving lessons to select few.
It's not often that I agree with stats from compubox but that was like a Mayweather fight where you could see all the punches landing cleanly. Never though Wach could take thoose shots but hey.
Was glad to see Wladimir really let his hands go and mix up the punches. He was even throwing uppercuts when they were in clinches.
Seeing that he never in his career was down or hurt (that what people claim), not even Wlad could really hut him, neither there was a significant visual effects of damage on his face after the fight ... it means his defense is just working for him well ... I doubt he will EVER face as fluid/powerfull/durable puncher as Wlad again so I would not worry much about his Zen status, I would worry more about his own offensive tools which he can better use to win with quality opponent.
:deal Wlad was straight blastin ol boy too :scaredas: Wlad just kept throwing (and landing) monster ass rights, but Wach wouldn't go down. All in all, a good damn showing by Wlad :yep
So what did Wach's trainer have to say after the fight? That dude ate a huge serving of humble crow pie.
Wlad is really overrated in terms of power, more overrated in that than other facets of boxing that he is overrated in He was saved once again by the bell and the ropes from being KTFO
