I think your really underrating Lewis here. Wlad is not that much faster than lennox in terms of foot speed or hand speed, especially if we're talking about prime for prime. Lewis and Wlad are two completeley different fighters, with only a few similarities that your average boxing fan will pick up on and come to that kind of assumption that they fight very similarly. Wlad doesn't impose himself upon his opponents directly, his size does. He throws a hard jab (one of the hardest of all time) and a monster right to follow, but he isn't willing to go out of his comfort zone to knock someone out. Lewis on the other hand is one nasty mother****er and wants to inflict some seriousness pain on you. He doesn't go looking for the knockout to the extent as someone like Foreman or Tyson, but he is more than capable of taking out some of the best chins in boxing. He's got an inside game as well which is the key here. Wlad can jab, jab, grab all he wants here, but when it comes down to it Lewis is to strong for Wlad to keep on holding him for 12 full rounds on the inside and would rough the younger brother up on the inside, much like he did to Vitali at times (an even bigger physical specimen than Wlad) In a boxing match, Wlad may take it, but Lewis could take it to the streets if he wanted and that's more than bad news for Wlad. Some holding and hitting on the inside from Lewis would wobble Wlad and Lennox being very underrated as a finished isn't going to let someone as sloppy as Wlad (when he gets hurt) get away with it and would finish him off in the middle rounds. I think another key point is for all the natural talent Steward said that Wlad had over Lewis, he always ends up implying that Lewis versatility and will to win would always just be to much for Wlad and at no time when comparing the two has Emmanuel ever appeared to pick Wlad to beat Lewis. When someone that knows both fighters at their best points in and out implys one over the other numerous times, you'd tend to go with their opinion, especially as he is one of the greatest trainers of all time Don't get me wrong, Wladimir certainly has a chance in this one, but the moment Lewis turns it into a scrap, it's gonna be all to much for him. Lewis wins anywhere from 6-9 times out of 10 against Wlad, but the few tines it went the distance, Wlad would take the majority.
Right, because there were never any HW boxers in history who didn't rely on fighting on the inside atsch
I could see Lewis being down on points and either getting a late round stoppage or barely running out of time.
Wlad will win. Lennox Lewis is just another overhyped American Black champion. Lennox fits the image of a Brookyn thug and American Media love that. Lennox is a fraud, he got owned twice by Golota and if it wasn't for low blows he would have six legit losses on his record. Wlad will never have lost to Golota. Wladimir avenged all of his defeats as well and is the only heavyweight champion to defeat every man he ever faced. He lost to Brewster and beat him down like a clown the 2nd time. He lost to Peters and destroyed Peters as well. Wladimir is superior.
Wladimir destroying Ross Purrity. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjxSUQcAkak[/ame] Deal with it haters. He got cheated against Ross the first time and destroyed him in the rematch. I respect champions who avenge all their defeats. You ****ing clown turds always hate on Wlad and Vitali. I'm so god damn sick of it. If they were black you guys will be busying licking their ass holes. I'm sick of it.
Agree. Ross Purrity, Lamont Brewster, Corrie Sanders were all cheating ****s. They would never have koed real Wladimir. Plus Lewis don't hit as hard as Purrity or Brewster anyways.
Lennox would take it to the streets and son the younger Klitschko in a faster and more destructive fashion than he sonned the elder Klitschko :deal .
