Firat Arslan. What he did at 42 was amazing.

Ward's win over Dawson is arguably the best win all year but getting the FOTY award for a single fight is a bit of a stretch tbh. Wlad fought three awful bums and deserves no mention. I suppose, Martinez's wins over Macklin and Chavez Jr. make him my #1.

Donaire will deserve it for activity if he beats Arce, even though I'm not entirely crazy about any one of his wins.

a win over a hype-job is the best win all year?

and the SS6 win was last year so I cant see how Ward gets a mention.

    ...Martinez.

A blowout KO of DeMarco could gain Broner some consideration.

IMO, IF Donaire looks explosive & caps the year off with a KO of Arce it would more than likely give him this award.

Hell maybe PAC & Marquez have Another epic & the winner gets a consideration?

I can't really think of anyone who has done better than Garcia to be honest.

Dawson is hardly a hype-job, albeit a tad overrated prior to that fight. He whooped Adamek, beat Johnson, Tarver (yeah, the first Johnson fight was controversial) and Hopkins. That's not too bad.

Martinez, But Donaire, Ward and Viloria-Marquez winner are still in the running with another solid win.

He beat Adamek, good win. The others are ok...you cant give him props for Hopkins surely, people refuse to give Calzaghe pros and that was like 4 years ago. Im just saying, if Dawson was European he would be a eurobum on here.

Last year I would have gave it Ward for the SS6 (even if he didnt leave home). This year no chance.
