Agree with the last poster, it's good experience for Pricy. Skelton's a wily old dog with years of ring experience, it'll stand the still developing Pricy in good stead for the future.
It's to keep him busy and each fight gets him a little more experience. I'm thinking they are going to move him up to a higher level right from the start of next year. The Skelton fight will probably get him a few rounds in as well which he didn't get last time out. The fight does make sense,they are not rushing him .
Don't know how many times everyone has to repeat this. Why would he not have this fight and wait to January to fight, waste of time. He will be fighting again in February/March its just keeping active and winning the title outright.
It's not good experience. It's **** experience. After the 6 or so minutes it will take for him to knock Skelton out in a complete one sided beat down, he'll get out of that ring no wiser a boxer. He's 29 ffs, it's not like he's a 20 year old learning his trade against journeymen. He should be fighting a gatekeeper or fellow contender now.

I have no problem with Price keeping busy and wanting to win the belt out-right, but I don't see how Knocking-Out Matt Skelton in one or two rounds is a "Good Experience." I'm not having a go at the fight either, because there's no one else out their domestically to defend the British Title against ATM. But the reason for this fight is activity and winning the Belt out-right, not for a "Good Expeirence."
