So what's Vitali's excuse for failing to knock old, fat, unmotived Lewis down even once, let alone knock him out? Rahman and McCall - two guys not any where near the league of the Klitschko's - knocked a much younger and fitter Lewis out with one punch yet the best Vitali could do was wobble him a bit in the early rounds. Mercer and Mavrovic - one a decent world contender and the other a high Euro-level fighter - fought Lewis in 12 round slugfests, Vitali couldn't even last past the 6th round. And neither Mercer or Mavrovic looked half a beat up as Vitali did and they fought a younger, stronger version of the man Vitali faced in more rounds than Vitali. So why couldn't Vitali KO an old, almost-shot version of Lewis when Rahman had proved it was possible to KO him only two years before? When Lewis was in the worst shape of his career and Vitali was in the prime of his life? When Vitali has such a great KO ratio for his career?
