Chisora is the best opponent for Wlad

It will never happen though because Haye ruined the possibility.

The other guys in the division don't have the characteristics to get to Wlad.

    Chisora does.

He is a volume puncher with size and aggressive defense. He is small enough to get underneath Wlad's punches, and he's strong enough to still do work when Wlad ties him up.

In fact, Wlad has nightmares about guys like Chisora who also proved he can take a shot.

Chisora is not a great fighter, but styles make fights.

I would like to see this fight over anybody else, including stationary targets like Povetkin and Boystov.

The last time Wlad fought anybody remotely similiar to Chisora, was fat stationary Peter who at best is a slugger with a good chin. The first time they fought, Wlad hit the deck multiple times.

Chisora is more fluid than Peter, throws more punches, and targets the body. Chisora is an overall better fighter than Peter and his style is not the same.

There is a possibility that Haye ruined him, but I would still like to see the fight with Wlad.

If Wlad manages to beat Chisora easily, then you can more easily discern where he rates as an ATG heavyweight.

But if he gets blasted out, he'll always have that crutch, even if he is a great fighter that can beat most fighters in history.

Wow. I thought you were trolling.

You do know that Wladimir is allowed to punch too, not only Chisora?

I mean really, Chisora does have a few losses, but at this point, who cares?

Povetkin doesn't want the fight. Boystov will get killed. Neither have a chance.

Povetkin is a paper champion and Boystov is fighting bums. I think Chisora earned a shot even if he took a couple losses and robbery.

It's not my fault that you don't understand boxing very well because you worship a fighter like an idol.

Hey man, I used to think guys were unbeatable too until they met up with a certain style and got their asses beat.

the more times chisora gets his ass kicked, the better he gets. i cant imagine how great hisora will be when he loses his 6th or 7th fight out of 10. ATG maybe?

Wlad is an accurate puncher, but Chisora comes in low and has good aggressive defense.

Yes, Wlad will land some shots, but Chisora has a good chin, and he will get to Wlad and land his shots.

Just like he got to Vitali and landed shots.

If you remember, Vitali handled Peter much more easily than Wlad, but was clearly troubled by Chisora.

Vitali has never really had an issue with pressure fighters and is much more comfortable with that style. He has the chin and the toughness necessary and he doesn't put as much into his punches as Wlad, so he's more loose.

I think Chisora has a better chance than anyone.

Have you seen him fight or do you only watch Wlad fights?

Can you imagine the outrage of the fans if Wladimir picks Chisora?

    "Wlad is fighting Fury's, Vitali's, Haye's leftover"

    Again, styles make fights.

Wlad won't be able to utilize the same defense as Haye, considering his size and height.

Wlad will have to rely on his footwork and leaning back.

Haye used a Marciano like counterpunching defense when Chisora was up close.

    He stood in the pocket.

It's a different fight. When is the last time Wlad took multiple clean shots?

Chisora will land shots. Wlad has good footwork, but when he clinches Chisora, Chisora is strong enough to still land punches in the clinch on Wlad's body.

That will take a toll on him and slow his footwork and reflexes, and Chisora will land a hook upstairs at some point in the fight.

Most fans don't know **** about boxing.

And to be honest, I don't think there would be that much outrage.

Nobody gives a **** about Povetkin.

Haye ruined any interest I had in a Wlad/Chisora fight.

Would have loved to see it beforehand though.

all that you just wrote is all fine and good, and possible. until he gets popped a few times in the first round, then his plan suddenly changes because maybe thats not a good idea after all....

anything can happen. would i like to see it? **** yeah. will it happen next year? i doubt it.

Not sure if I think Haye ruined him.... but Chisora has now taking some mean shots from Helenius and Haye. His punch resistance certainly wont be improving.

But I think it has more to do with his mentality. He has a devistating lack of work ethic and discipline relative to what it takes to beat champions. I think the best we will ever see him look was against Vitali (or maybe somewhere down the line he will wake up and get back into shape, by then though I think it will be too late durability wise)

In my opinion (and I hope he proves me wrong, would like to see a succesful run from chisora) Chisora is done making waves inside the ring. I think he will fade away much like Peter did.

As for Wlad vs Haye.... the reason I say Haye ruined that fight to me is I cant get excited for it after seeing Haye bomb Chisora like that. I would have to see Chisora beat some other top guys in the division to get my excitement back and I just dont think that will happen (Chisora beating a top guy)

Like I said though, I hope he proves me wrong.

Some people do give a **** about Povetkin because he holds that last disgusting WBA trinket hostage. Whereas nobody clearly gives a **** about Chisora. I think he is not even licensed in UK now.

He lost his last 4 fights, ffs. He faired well with Helenius though.

Chisora is a slow, featherfisted plodder with terrible technique.

    Wladimir by early stoppage.
