just rewatched bowe vs holyfield 1. round 10 was truly a barnburner:bbb anyways, bowe was a big man at 6"5 with a superb jab and a powerful right hand. however his in-fighting skill is often overlooked. the guy could rip hooks to the body and vicious uppercuts inside for a big guy. any BIG heavys today that have the same or even slightly similar infighting skills to bowe? the klits are obviously out of the question since they fight utilizing their height and jab and prefer fighting on the outside which would make sense given their physical.advantages...

Bowe could have been a great fighter, but let food, cocaine, and despicable behavior ruin him.

    What a waste.

Probably last time we see a heavyweight with a complete physical attribute.

    Size, speed, chin and power.

Even Lennox has a shaky chin, so is Wlad. Vitaly has a chin but has porous skin and still somewhat mechanical movement.

Had Bowe taken care of himself. He would've been the dominant heavyweight, not Lennox.

He would be hard for just about anyone to knock off at his best...Never really been in the heavyweights, but he is one I didn't mind watching..incidentally so was Commander Evander.

Not really since he was scared of being ko'd by Lewis. Again.

Maybe if he had a heart transplant he might have been something

His infighting skills aren't overlooked m8. He is remembered for how well he fought on the inside for a big man. Something Eddie Futch wanted and taught him to do.

And no, there is no other big man before or since who could fight as well on the inside.

indeed. in his second encounter with holyfield, bowe just simply let himself go from 230 during the 1st fight and then coming in at 246 during their 2nd bout:blurp well tales of wasted talent is prevalent in boxing...

His cornermen did better against Golota than he himself.

He would assrape both Klits if he was in his prime today

Great talent but he never maximized his potential
