    am surprised this news is not a major headline story across the world....what a loss for boxing....now boxing truly is dead and cold!!!!

    It's a silly thing to do if it's true. He can still make money and have an interesting career at the british level. Nobody would mind a soft one for him next time out then there's a Price fight to be made - or if Price fights and beats Fury, a Fury rematch. When Pulev moves on he could be a part of the scramble for the Euro belt. Money to be made. Maybe he's not feeling it after getting beat up twice.

    Shame.

    Yeah i cant see it. Fair enough he's had a few losses but they've all been against good lads . Unless there's a medical reason for it it is indeed a shame.He looked good against Vitali i thought.

    but seriously, he should stick around, he's durable enough to take punch after punch, maybe he's limited and crude, but he reminds me a bit of Smokin' Joe Fraizer and I can't take that away from him
