Golden Boy are assholes, but they've let Top Rank promote Gamboa-DPDL even though DPDL was a bigger name and they likewise just let Lara fight Vanes on a Top Rank card and appeared prepared to let Guerrero fight Bradley. There's no actual reciprocal indication that Top Rank is willing to do the same for its fighters, much less take part in an actual co-promotion.

Bob Arum doesn't give a **** about the fans.. He also doesn't even care about his cash cow Manny Pacquiao (He robbed him against Bradley)... He is a soul less, greedy *******!

Over the past 40 years Arum has brought uss some of the biggest and best fights. But why the **** is he doing this womanly behavior so late in life... He is ruining the legacy he has built for himself.

Oscar said he's willing to work with Bob to get the fight made. Arum doesn't want to work with GBP under any circumstance and told Mares to wait out his contract if he wants the fight previously.

Both are bad, but we know who the worse is

and GBP put on Alvarez/Lopez on the same night as Martinez/Chavez. They also put Mares/Agebko on the same night as Cotto/Margarito II...They are looking to compete and take away viewers at almost any chance. Hell, they almost tried to put Mares/Moreno on the same night as Rios/Alvarado. Both sides are horrible, but everyone hates Arum so he seems worse.

Golden Boy and Alvarez had the rightful initial claim to 9/15 and had publicized a fight for that date earlier. They had absolutely no reason to back off of it just because Top Rank was acting like Chavez might actually fight Martinez for the 6th time.

I'll admit that GBP seems to be trying to **** TR off or something and compete with their dates more often than the other way around, but overall Arum has done more dickheadish and petty things to screw over the fans and even his own fighters.

Like Slugger mentioned, he even robbed Pacquiao :patsch

And here I was thinking this fight was a sure thing, stupid of me to get my hopes up for a fight that makes so much damn sense.

Mares v donaire is a barnburner of a fight while it lasts and donaire is heavy fav

So if bob was smart he would co promote or the fight if he has to

Fight is excitin and donaire scores a brutal KO setting him up for casual fans to swarm to. Bob could make him the next manny pacquiao seeing as he retires next year

Bob dont know **** about business

this gbp/tr feud goes way back when greenburg/hbo and gbp tried to bury TR by not giving them any dates. oscar then went on to say that he wants to control boxing for the benefit of boxing fans.

Wish Arce just rematched Rojas instead, they still got a score to settle and the fight was damn exciting for the very little time it lasted

It's ****ed up. Remember they patched things for a bit and we were getting great fights like Cotto-Mosley.. He needs to remember what got him to where he is today. He did great things, but the past five years have been disgraceful. The sport is definitely better without him at this time..
