whoever the klits beat will suddenly turn into a worthless bum after , according to the detractors . it's a lose /lose situation

just look at the uk fans with david haye , before the wlad fight :

-haye was a big cruiseweight , he'll have no problem fighting bigger guys
    - he's been a heavyweigt for 3 years, he's a full-fledged heavy
    - he wobbled the giant
    - he beat 2 heavyweight champions
    - he's even fast by CW standards, he will KO wlad

after the fight , the haye win was :

    - haye , who did he actually beat ?
    - he's a blown up cruiserweight

the same thing will keep happening to future wlad victims : david price ? bum , kubrat pulev ? bum , povetkin ? bum etc...

The exact opposite is true of Klitards. Before Wlad, Haye was a hype-job that didn't deserve a shot. After Wlad beats him he's one of the best names on his resume. It works both ways, and no-one was saying Haye was great before he fought Wlad, even his own fans. A lot of Brits were saying he had a puncher's chance considering how fragile Wlad's mandible is, and any polls taken before the fight had Haye an even chance at the very best.

Byrd, Chagaev & Haye are pretty good wins that compare with almost anything in Lewis' resume. Ex. Shot Tyson, Past-prime Holyfield, Mercer.

    However, I said ALMOST ANYTHING.

Lennox has a quick KO over Golota. And also the win over prime Vitali, probably the best win in his resume.

Remember also that Lennox avenged all his loses.

    That's why LENNOX > WLAD.

    However, that doesn't mean Wlad isn't Top10.

    Lennox...Top5.

    Wlad....Top10.

    PLUS THIS:

Lennox begins to make contact with his Hard Jab. Steward - “When you jab don’t just jab—push your jab all the way through where you can push him off balance”, because I saw that Vitali crosses his legs a lot when he punches, and he would be out of balance.

Round 4: Lewis starts with a combination straight at Vitali, notice the stark contrast to the first two rounds. Mauling Klitschko by smothering his punches on the inside.

Round 5: This is where the fight turns in Lewis favor. Lennox rips Vitali with two uppercuts. Steward - "When he got inside there was a little trick I showed him how to slowly get your right hand down, real slow and quietly, and then rip an uppercut!"

Rips a Left Hook. He takes Round 5.

The Huge Uppercut: Vitali takes it but holds on well for an extended period of time. Vitali was not experienced enough particularly with infighting and therefore payed for it.

The Jab, Left Hook and Uppercut were the punches that done the most damage in the fight. Lennox forced a dogfight by using his Jab to close the intermediate gap. Left Hooks & devastating uppercuts on the inside.

    Therefore you have TKO6

So many on this site feel like they have to bash Lewis to praise Wlad or vice versa. They're both great boxers with many similarities both in style and careers. Why not just give them both credit.
Lennox faced the better opposision IMO.

Lewis literally walked out of a buffet to beat the life out of Vitali

He was at the heaviest of his career and was tired from round 2 it seemed like ... but still had enough to beat the best contender in the world in his prime

Vitali remembers that beating every time he looks at his face

I don't expect to them fight at all.
Wlad IMO has fought the better guys, but there are guys Vitali has fought that won't get a fight v Wlad, because they lost to Vitali.
If Vit's last name was Maskaev, there'd be an uproar that the 2 hadn't fought, and both guys would be titlists.
A bit like Pac v Mayweather really.

Nah, when one guy walks away from a contracted fight as part of a 4 man heavyweight tournament - the tournament being the ONLY reason you got your title shot in the first place (Ruddock was actually first in line to face Holy) you lose all credibility in regards to dominance. Especially when your next fights are against Dokes and Ferguson.

I don't disagree too much. Again, we have to resort to comparisons for the brothers, not a real fight.

i'm talking about wlad . vitali picking shannon's corpse for a title fight has nothing to do with wlad . wlad and vitali are two different people :verysad

2 of those HOF were washed up . and i already conceded that lewis was head and shoulders above vitali in that fight , his best win , and the only fight that puts him above wlad .

golota and ruddock are quality fighters now ? are they better than chagaev , haye , byrd .. ?
