"We have to win this fight first, but Brandon Rios is next on the list,
Manny was being a little compassionate [in his recent fights] and he was getting a little soft. We have to bring back the old Manny. If we come forward we'll probably win [against Marquez]."

Roach doesn't need to worry about it. Pac beat JMM 3 times already by robbing him.

I cannot believe Manny doesn't want to rematch Bradley. He seems to want the rematch then all of the sudden, "Everyone knows I won that fight". What if every great fighter had that mindset? He should rematch Bradley in my opinion.

Excitement is way better for me these 2 Dudes are gonna kill each other in the ring, it'll be a more competitive margarito fight 2.0 lol with Pac probably winning but the fans will win because of the exciting fight.

Strange that Manny is now picking on the smaller guy. This fight, if it happens, should be at 140. I said the same thing for Bradley. If Pac works his axe off to get to 140 he will be back in top shape. Pac has gone soft but it isn't about compassion. Also implicit is we know Mayweather isn't going to happen. They aren't even leaving bargaining room cuz they know it ain't gonna happen.

Pac's has 7 fights over 140. Rios was a career high 140 ONCE. But, it was a bit tongue in cheek, hence the reference that the fight should be at 140. You know the caliber of the clientèle as well as anyone else here. They'll accuse Pac of weight draining him at 147 or accuse him of picking on a smaller guy. Well, probably both. :D

Rios is also what Pac needs to get some excitement back. Rios will come forward, same as Arce. Manny gets his 'mojo' back.

I'm not mad about this fight. At least Rios is young, strong, and is coming off an impressive win unlike Marg who was past his best when he fought Pac. I give Rios about a 30% chance of winning which should be much higher than what most people estimate. Pac should beat him and I know Rios is tailor made for Pac but when you put two brawlers in the ring....anything can happen in an exchange of punches. The tide can literally turn in just one devastating blow. Pac has been hurt by a Margarito body shot. And we all know Rios has a killer inside game. He'll be more accurate since his arms are shorter. His timing is also quite effective.
