You should make a thread about that, maybe it would get a sticky. Doubtful though since most have accepted that loss unlike Vittles fans who a decade later are still in denial about TKO6! :rofl
Look at Vitali his amateur boxing KO ratio(not even 50%), the man his power comes from volume punching.
This And he himself was starting to tire and succumb to exhaustion when Lewis was starting to get going ... The only guys that were able to beat Lewis had legitimate 1 punch KO power, something Vitali doesn't have
That would be a combination of the fact that Lewis was old and almost-shot while Vitali is well known for having a strong chin and for being durable. Lewis, on the other hand, is well known for having a suspect chin and being easy to KO when caught unprepared. So the question of "why couldn't Vitali even knock him down?" is a more relevant one. Vitali was more motivated for the fight than Lewis was, was a more active fighter than Lewis was, was younger, fitter and hungrier than Lewis was. This is shown by Vitali's dominance of the early rounds, but even this superior mindset to Lewis, even with this early dominance, even with this greater level physical fitness he failed to even knock down Lewis once. McCall and Rahman had taken advantage of Lewis having his eye off the ball, of Lewis overlooking them and coming into the fight ill-prepared, Vitali failed to do that. And that's not what you would expect from someone with the KO ratio that Vitali has. With that KO ratio you would expect him to be a great finisher, you would expect him to beat a half-hearted almost-shot Lewis, but he didn't. So again, what was his excuse for failing to knock Lewis off his feet?
Ive completely accepted it, he lost no argument there. Its the Lewis fans that seam un willing to accept that Lewis was KTFO twice!
Its pretty easy to accept because Lennox defeated those two bums. This content is protected This content is protected sHOW ME WHERE VITALI BEAT bYRD?
Explain to me how this is relevant to Lewis TKO6 Vitali? Why exactly are you trying to derail the thread with that nonsense?
Correct he did beat those bums after first getting KTFO by those bums, please point me to the fight or fights that Vitali was KTFO by bums?? Vitali was never KO'd by Byrd, not sure what the relevance is there, he retired voluntarily
Did Paul Wallace save his career in that match? Discuss. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Watch the Klitschko movie and you'll see Dr. Wallace's comments about it atsch Can we please stop with these threads??? Might was well change this site from ESB to TKO6
