Fowler is a beast! Thats the 1st time Ive seen him, he was very impressive & landed some great shots. Cordina had a tough fight but boxed really well in patches, picked off some good counters & deserved the win imo. The WSB site has him losing but I think thats an error :conf McGoldrick was up against a tricky opponent who spoiled a lot & was hard to look good against but he landed the better shots throughout & also deserved the win. Hopefully next week in our 1st home match the Olympians should be fighting, potentially we could have Selby, Nevin/Taylor, Evans, Ward & Joyce/Clarke in action. Really looking forward to it :bbb
That's Sean Turner from Ireland. Despite his weight hes actually pretty decent. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9Hot4zdwL4"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9Hot4zdwL4[/ame]
Good fighter is Sean Turner, beat GBs Joe Joyce before and fought Joshua twice and only lost by a few points both times .He could definatley lose a few pounds but ! His WSB record is 2-1 . Here is his first WSB fight from last year . [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seysYTXWLvk[/ame]
Sean McGoldrick Joe Cordina Antony Fowler Uaine Fa All Won Zlako Ledic lost for us. Ledic is Bosnian, Fa is from Tonga.
That straight right from Fowler is a big shot there. His fight with Callum Smith in the Merseyside ABAs a few years ago is meant to be brilliant.
Fowler looked class last night. The pros will suit him down to a tee. This Yank had some decent credentials and he got sparked. Young Cobra is Ant. Cordina looked good too. He let the Yank back in to the fight in the 3rd and 4th round but he looked the classier fighter throughout. Great 5th by him.
Uaine Fa looks like a promising heavyweight at 6,5 268lbs and a record of 4-0, could do with working on his fitness.
Fowler looks really good especially for a Welterweight fighting at Middleweight. He has a lot of potential just does not want to be as wide open as he was. Got caught and a bigger puncher could of done damage. Cordina, at times took his foot of the gas and allowed his challenger to come back in. But in the end his classier shots and cleaner work worked wonders for him. Good start to this to be honest and with some of the more 'known' names could be fighting friday against the Italians i don't see how we can't win to be honest. I really fancy us to take it by storm to be honest.
