Winchester is off to a busier start, throwing jabs to the chest and following with long uppercuts on the front foot. Hernandez is backed up across the Don King crown logo and nearly to the ropes before resuming control. Right up-jabs and crashing overhand lefts to the dome by Hernandez. Big right upper-hook to the body, forcing Winchester back toward a corner. Winchester leaps in and snakes his arms under Hernandez's. Double jab, left cross by Hernandez stepping in. Winchester circles away and leans back against the ropes, folding over to one side. Body shots by Hernandez. Clinch. Break. Winchester bobs from side to side as Hernandez jabs in on him. BIG combo by Hernandez, uppercuts to the body and a hard straight left to the face. Winchester spins Hernandez around and throws his own combo!

Round 8

Winchester is muscled across the ring and bounced off the ropes by Hernandez's uppers to the body, wildly twisting inward on the follow-through. More body shots by Hernandez, and a pecking right jab to the guard as Winchester backpedals slowly and tries to circle outside. Clinches by Winchester. Hernandez hops in place after a break and then trots in with more light jabs up top and uppers to the hips and sides.

Winchester is putting out a weak jab to hold off Hernandez, and slapping over the top with his right. Hernandez digs to the body and reaches up with a rainbow overhand left to the neck on the inside. Winchester is poking with his jab while getting shoved into the ropes. HARD straight left to the jaw by Hernandez. Winchester is hurt but able to clinch. 1-2 by Winchester, fighting his way clear of the ropes and backing Hernandez up.
