That first knockdown was textbook perfect. Look at his balance. Feet planted, legs forming a triangle, punch straight down the pipe with a little shoulder rotation.

The second one was just brutal.

Son of a ***** my prediction was Santana by early rounds KO. 1 rounds off getting it right.

Some people would've complained about a TKO following the first knockdown in the fifth, but I agree with you that he looked very shaky even before he got off his butt. He didn't know where he was for a moment.

Good balance and every punch in the book. Can fight inside and out. I'm impressed.

Angelo "The Cobra" Santana improves to 14-0 (11)

He'll have that KO rate up over the eighty percent hump soon enough, I reckon. (currently a hair shy of 79%)

He looks to be improving, still a work in progress.

The power is no joke, good foundation to build on.

At this stage of their careers, I would have been OK with a stoppage. It would have been early, but the ending was so predictable.

If this was a championship fight or the guy was more seasoned, I would not agree with a stoppage.

I hope Ugas was watching this fight.
Garcia has a difficult style moving and throwing but he is wild and often open to be counterpunched.

Santana probably has bigger things in store than Ugas.

It isn't just the fact that he's a puncher and Yordenis isn't. He is consistent in his performances, and on a clear incline with his skill and discipline. Ugas is spotty on those.

That said, with fair judging I think Ugas beats Johnny Garcia in a rematch and that's something he should be pursuing if he's serious about his career.

Yeah that's fair...although Johnny probably would've been lamenting his zero being taken away had Gentile not given him the "extra chance".
