Froch is a deserved winner. Not sure why Haye would be 2nd, he only fought an average Chisora all year. Burns would be second on my list.
Anybody know if this is done by season or calendar year? Because if season, Froch had 1 loss and 1 win compared to 2 wins for Burns (Katsidis/Moses)
What's the criteria for overseas boxer? The best boxer in the world in the past year? The best fighter against British opponents?
What a load of bollocks. Since when does improving equate to you being fighter of the year? He can be fighter of the year when he gets in there with top class opponents back to back to back and wins. Carl Froch is a million miles ahead of Burns, and it's based on merit.
I guess he would be classed as a home fighter? :think My pick would be Marsili, the Italian that took apart Derry at the start of the year.
