I remember a Robbie Beckett played for Super League test side. He had a fat older brother who played in jr reps but i don't know that he played reps. They got up to other hi jinx involving post offices. I remember playing against the at Beckett when i was a young kid. He roared when he ran and it terrified me

Argh the memories, he did a similar try in the Q Cup as a 19 yr old diving at absolute full speed in the air for about 5 mtrs and plucked the ball about 3 inches off the ground over the try line. One of the best tries I have ever seen in my life.

The Blacklock and Mundine show with the guest appearances by Amos Roberts was dam cool.

Bob Lidner greater than Bradley Clyde :deal

Russelmus maximus is going to sell Souffs next year :rofl

this will mark the end of all those big name signings, and without Crowes help the rabble will sink down to the bottom of the ladder....as it should be

After the way the members treated him and Sattler and with 77.9% or whatever it was voting against him to sell to Crowe and PHAC do you think he will come back? Anyway Im sure you will survive somehow.

I'm deadly ****in serious , Piggins saved our club . Crowe was always gunna dog it once the going got tough [ no money to be made] . Yeah I'm one of the twenty % of members that stayed loyal to the true believers Piggins group.

He did save the club, but he was also responsible for the mess that got us on the brink of extinction in the first place. While in charge, the game changed, Piggins didnt, and the rest is history.

I have no ill feeling towards him, but his failure to acknowledge the business side in league is his own downfall, and his unwillingness to accept Souths simply because they've been privatised is just pig headedness, and vain.
