OMG now you want me to tell where you are wrong, where do I begin.
You definitely are not a pro or if you are than I pity the fools who you work with. You haven't any real world experience and have never done anything worthwhile to even speak about.
No wonder boxing is in trouble brilliant people like yourself are needed to save boxing, please show us the way us misguided fools who actually like old school trainers and training, can.

"LATIN HIDES THE STUPIDITY OF THE PRIEST", in your case it's "neuromuscular adaptations, and such hides your stupidity period.

He's calling you out to explain what you think is wrong in what he's saying, saying you have no real world experience doesn't prove anything.

I guess you didn't read his previous posts cos if I have to tell you where he is wrong then I am wasting my time and his going back and forth on this forum. I will never change his mind and he wont change mine.

Now If he is sincere then thats different and he would really like to know where he is wrong and wants to exchange ideas fine, but I really dont sense that do you?

You won't ever change your mind, what happened to the open minded you? Sad really.

"boxing coaches sure as hell don't understand about neuromuscular adaptations.", he is assuming as was I. This guy has to be just a guy who read bks, throws out these terms to what end? WTFC's nodody.
Instead of talking about tendons try instead educating somebody who may be having a problem with a Tendon.
    http://www.livestrong.com/article/502451-how-do-i-treat-a-sore-tendon/

Dang let me catch up there is alot of mud slung this way. Now we can really talk.
I dont mind this back and forth in fact it's like sitting in a bar or pub if you like and argueing back and forth and how full of it someone is.

I do come to learn something training, but when I hear some of the stuff that is posted and this anti- old school bias is just unbelievable.
I am a lifelong boxing junkie I love this sport, but now I see how just how heated something can become when you bring up old school vs new school.

If a boxing coach doesnt know what a tendon is educate him dont be pompus and sit there gloating about how stupid old school guys are. Give credit and respect to those who in years past earned it.

Let's talk about how old school and S&C guys can get together to improve a fighter. I have posted in previous posts what should be at the very least thought provoking. For instance, that at least 40 to 50 yrs ago elite Mexicans always had a private doctor in the gym to monitor heartrate. This was before S&C guys came along. Boxing believe it or not has always used what works, for their particular fighter where as in the case of John L Sullivan(1890's) brought in what they called in those days a physical culturist, every single world champion since the bare knuckle days has had a guy who's primary job was conditioning. Jack Dempsey, did things in the 20's that they still do today. Respect that new school came from old school and it has been built on old school techniques. NOW LETS SIT BACK AND SEE WHAT THE RESPONSE IS.

The point was boxing coaches don't need to know about neuromuscular adaptations from a scientific standpoint. Some may do, the vast majority don't. Absolutely nothing wrong in what he's saying unless of course every boxing coach you've ever met is also a professional in physiology and anatomy, then I agree, he's wrong.

There's no arguing back and forth, it's you repeating the same thing.

It depends what you're referring to. If you're talking the get up and run 5 miles every morning then you need to read some books and learn something because it's a waste of time.

    There's nothing heated about it.

Nobody has been pompus and nobody has said old school guys are stupid. If they have then they're ignorant.

    Who's refusing to?

So because old school boxers used heart rate monitors they don't need S&C coaches? :patsch

You haven't made a single post that is thought provoking.

In case you don't understand "new school" as you like to put it, is built upon "old school" it's not an entirely new thing. What was used in the past and works is being used today, it's just as humans we strive to improve upon things we already know works aka "new school".

It's a good job not everyone has your mindset, if they did we'd still be living in caves, not advancing at all as what they'd be doing "works".

Yes I did and I will keep on learning from different threads, this one is just for laughs the stupidity shown on this thread shows that none of these guys have a clue and are strictly amateurs, except me of course. Be happy, be content being yourselves since nobody seems to care that their stupidity is showing.:finger5

I wasn't telling you that a tendon exists or how to fix a tendon rupture you ******, I was talking about the properties of tendons, their stiffness or compliance. Your power comes from efficient use of your tendons, lowering hysteresis so more energy is recovered during recoil and less is lost as heat energy. Achieved by incorporating plyometrics, stiffness of tendons achieved by heavy weight training. You have no idea about these things which proves my point, if your fighter needs something get someone who is qualified and knowledgable to do the job properly for you.
And why would I bother to educate someone who has no desire to learn? Everything works you dumbarse but everything can also be improved, which is what generally happens with time and advanced understanding.
You still haven't told me what I was wrong about, you're just trolling and disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing because you're a closed-minded idiot.

It's really sad, cos you dont seem to understand, instead of coming up with the properties of tendons, educate somebody as to how someone can do this or that and avoid hurting themselves. A doctor doesnt go into his medical dictionary to explain that a person has a problem, they do so in laymans language. Now that I know I am dealing with a know nothing amateur who resorts to name calling. Do yourself a favor, come to Mexico or Texas and see us dumbasses train and work without the huge benefit of your high and mighty intellect, knowledge of the human body and of course tendons and all those wonderful modern advances. Our fighters are doing alright, I know you could improve upon cos you know all about the human body and tendons. Dang imagine with you geniuses we could create superman.
I am assuming that you are British, let me put it like this, our little guys 108pds to 140pds can hang with any of your guys, forget about the amateurs bucko's we b talkin' pro's. All kidding aside I know you guys can be beneficial, in some cases and know more about the human body, but we got something you may not have and that is experience in the real world. You guys seem to forget that boxing has been around for hundreds of yrs and they have been working with the human body and fine tuning it over those many years, they have always gotten their fighters ready without the benefit of knowing what this all means: optimal oscillation, hysteresis of tendons, stiffness/compliance of the SEC, muscle pennation, relative muscle insertion, relative lever length, fibre composition, fibre length, neural inhibitory mechanisms, neural learning for optimal damping of vibrations. I KNOW IMAGINE IF THEY DID? You guys are the new kids on the block who know it all and have all the answers and make alot of noise. Your arrogance knows no bounds, please come over to Texas and Mexico and show us dumbasses how it should be. What your ego's wont let you accept is that an old school guy is the head coach and you and all s&c guys play a secondry role and only that, cos if you have a good coach and asst they know what has to be done to prepare a guy for whatever amount of rds he has do.
So you guys with all your knowledge of the human body, and understanding of all the advance technology, will always be just glorified conditioners.
