    Chin Talk:

Seth Mitchell was hurt by arm punching Witherspoon who is a mediocre Heavyweight. Mitchell has been carefully matched with handpicked opponents up to this point.

I think it is clearly obvious to any Objective Poster on here that knows Boxing that Mitchell has Chin Issues.

Banks is ZERO threat to that Glass Jaw that is why he is fighting Mitchell tonight.

I have Banks winning a decision, Mitchell is extremely overrated.

Banks can set the type of traps a an inexperienced guy like Mitchell may walk into.
This fight is gonna hinge on whether Banks is able to, and allowed to fight on after a Mitchell barrage which sends him down or has him reeling on the ropes.

Banks, should he be able to withstand those types of timed assaults, should be able to start CPing with hard shots after the 4th or 5th rd. If he survive till then, he actually has a shot at winning this.
Hell, Mitchell may actually get overly aggressive early and get caught with a counter and finished off himself.

This COULD be a helluva fight.:thumbsup

Good to see some Chin Talk on these boards. You can never get enough of it.

Mitchell is masking an abysmal Glass Jaw. That is irrefutable scientific fact.

It's a good thing that glass jaws and carefully matched opponents are the standard in the heavyweight division. Why the hell is Mitchell getting hate when the champion himself has been called an egg chin for about a decade and other contenders aren't willing to take their skirt off and switch to boxing trunks to face a legit opponent?

This is incontrovertible and irrefutable. Mitchell's handlers will continue to match him carefully against selected opposition over in America, and wait for Vitali Klitschko to retire. Upon which, the WBC will arrange a fight between Mitchell and someone like Arreola for the vacant strap. If Mitchell came over to the tough European HW scene, and fought a top 15 ranked Heavy, he'd get exposed for the limited fighter he is

    True, right now at least.

    - But what does that have to do with his chin?

Think carefully, now..... you can do it ..........

Im not sure yet, one bad night, first time i saw him hurt

might be more of a defense thing than a chin thing

I like his recuperative ability how he shrugged off the punches and came on

    His body attack is lethal

I think Mitchell gets KO'd by the top 10 but that doesnt mean he has a bad jaw

If you have a Chin your Defense doesn't matter. Bad Defense isn't an excuse for someone that has a Glass Jaw. If you have a Chin your Defense doesn't matter.

Good analysis but your scrutiny does not hold up without including the Chin Prime variable. Is Seth Mitchell in his chin prime yet, or perhaps (more likely) it will be in a few fights. These are questions real chin scientists would ask

Seth Mitchell's knees were buckled by a jab from Timor ibragamov.
Seth Mitchell was hurt badly by a counter right from Chazz.
    Seth Mitchell can not box.

If Banks didn't have a shitty chin I would say he KO's Seth, but that isn't happening.

You realize u oosted the same sentence twice? Lol
An its not like he went down. He was hurt a lil bit an then knocked the dude out. If anybody 220+ lbs sits down on a shot and catches u clean ur gonna get hurt idc who u are but if u just pacman that **** and keep coming forward an proceed to knock the dude out then i dont think that qualifies as a glassjaw. Idk how much u boxed before but one shot can change everything especially in the big mans division. Not tryin to insult u an say u never fought just a lil reminder :good

After that last fight I finally know what is good chin and what isnt...

Mitchell chin is JUST FINE. He doesnt get rocked out of his fukin boots after taking one decent shot in to the head.

    Glass Jaws exist in boxing.
