Ward has made a helluva name for himself since joining the super six tournament. But the fact that he failed to fight outside the US in all of his S6 fights, just doesn't look good for him. I'm not saying he wouldn't win outside the US, but as a world champion, he should be obliged to fight everywhere. :good
Ward has hbo for sure but unlike the American champs before him he don't have so many options does he. He is the best fighter at 168 at present but he isn't the most exciting nor fan friendly hence why he gets so much stick. Bottom line is he would make loads of money fighting kessler in denmark and froch in uk too. I doubt very much hbo have enough interest in America to pay him anything like when he fights pavlik.. then who's he fight after?
Good stuff. I usually think boxer tweets are pretty lame but Ward is straight up telling it like it is.
lol what is ward doing spending him time tweeting about Froch? Shouldn't he be worrying about Pavlik.
Oh come on now! Cut Ward some slack! Word is, he's travelling all the way to Los Angelas for the Pavlik fight:nut
Sure is tweeting about it though. Looks like Froch is definitely on his mind. How about leaving Jokeland once in a... ever.
At least 90% of the posters on ESB watched Ward/Froch, but only about 2% understand what they saw. The truth is, if Froch had Pavlik's power, stamina, and finishing skills, that fight would have ended in a 10th or 11th round KO. Ward always looks good, but he has NEVER looked unbeatable. In the last 4 rounds of Ward/Froch, Ward looked VERY beatable.
