Twitter is full of little digs to a certain promoter.

He wrote that hours ago, they just put that up at that moment to make it seem like Ward is interested. He went on a rant much earlier that he has no interest in that fight.

On another note, I liked Carl's commitment to the body tonight. Looked good however is he going to stick to this? Or did he fight that way because he had a fighter coming down in weight. Carl has a better chance at targeting Kessler. Would be a better match up.

Ward makes more money fighting in Nottingham against Carl than fighting anyone in California.

That fight would sell out a stadium with ease in the UK.

Ward beats him handily again no matter where they faced imo, still its a fight i'd like to see.

  4. Will have too see what kessler is like against magee before i say if he can beat froch - but i think kessler will get ward before froch does, so only option is butem

He is definetly throwing his punches in bunches these days which makes me think he would do better against ward if they fought again however i still think ward wins 8-4 instead of 10-2.

Yeah talking to a pal of mine on fb and he's talking like Ward is now a easy nights work. He's a casual BTW.

Froch hasn't displayed his inside game since that night so we don't know how much he's developed it. Anything will be better then the first time!.

Froch tonight was subtle, anyone notice the halfstep back at range? Mack couldn't gauge range at all and was shellshocked by the power and speed of the punches because he looks so much slower on T.V. It's not just throwing punches he's also lighter on feet. Martinez does bike riding it seems to be becoming more used by fighters.

I think he went into the first Ward fight coaching himself, Listening to Rob everynow and then and basically doing his own thing. Since then i've seen Rob really get at him in the sessions and i think Carl was humbled that night he knows deep down he was a fool all along to not listen. He's made life so much harder for himself. Closer fight now but Ward is also developing so i have to temper my excitement.

Better fight then last time though for sure IMO.

Froch didnt get any kind of inside game sparring in the lead up to the ward fight apparently which was abit of a shock when i heard that. Gonna have re-watch in the build up to the broner fight to see if i can spot that step.

On a side note its starting to **** me off when people say get him over to nottingham and froch can win. People complain about ward fighting all the time in oakland but they want froch to have his rematches in nottingham. I know froch has fought on the road and ward hasnt left america but still bit of hypocracy.

Plus froch could fight kessler in kesslers garden and froch will stop bash him up, brutally.

I can't see the logic in Bute or his team wanting that rematch. I'd imagine they'll be a bit of posturing so they don't look weak, but a rematch is pointless.

Kessler is shot to pieces I fancy, I can see Froch taking him out in style.

I can't see Bute triggering the rematch option, but I can see Kessler cashing out with a big fight in the UK

Which would make the victory pointless for Froch. When he was at his best (and he was, none of the volcano alibis, thanks), and Kessler was already on the slide, he got clearly beaten by the Dane. Facts are facts.
