What risk? First, it was mandated in the his contract, signed years before the event took place.

Second, as you seem to be admitting yourself, it was not a noticeably pro-Ward crowd. The reason it was so quiet could well be due to the fact that most of the audience was from England and they had ... nothing to cheer about.

Third, Froch actually wanted the fight to be in Las Vegas, that was his dream. He didn't consider that a risk, but rather an aspiration.

I doubt there is many haters but some just don't understand why Ward is such a homeboy when he is one of the best boxers out there.

 

for someone who isnt bothered he dont half talk about him alot.

they have fought in the states,ward should just go fight him in the uk and prove himself once and for all.
froch is the only real threat in his division.
ward would dominate on points, froch will be seeking k.o.
could go either way but in favour of ward i.m.o.

The fact he is asking why is because he thinks he will go to uk and beat Froch comfortably and get robbed but I cant see that happening tbh I think they would give ward the decision.

I still think the rematch will happen in 2013 because ward will make more money rematching him than he can fighting anyone else but I guarantee you ward makes Froch go up to LH.

I cant see why anyones against it ward fans included it's a better fight than most out there for ward.

Are you seriously comparing ward to mayweather? Mayweather is the cashcow and ppv no.1 in the sport and his situation is not even remotely comparable to Andre Wards, who is not even a ppv fighter.

Ward is not very marketable and i don't think he is even the most popular fighter at 168 and he never will be if he keeps talking about what he is not prepared to do rather than what he wants to achieve as a champ.

 

mayweather is not earning 600k as no.1 and his situation has been completely different to that of ward.
