How is it a poor example? California is bigger than the entire UK. What's the ****ing difference? Here's what it comes down to. If you believe Froch has a better chance of beating Ward in England, by other means than friendly judging, you're a fool. Froch is a great fighter. Ward is greater, and always will be.
atsch Its not how many times they have fought at home, its if they have proven themselves in big fights as an away fighter. Froch and Kessler have both tested themselves on the road. Ward never has, and history shows it to be wise for him not to chance his arm
ward fought a world tournament in one country. 5 fights...all in the usa froch got one in the uk, 4 in foreign lands
then why did Ward refuse to leave the USA? Why did no americans win a fight outside the USA during the super 6?
Ok, so when Ward gets up to 11 and 19 fights in Oakland and isn't taking any tough fights than you will have the right to complain. Until then it just sounds like sour grapes. Mind you, I'm not saying that to be disrespectful to you personalty, that's just how I see it.
Losing towards the end? Ward was tired and still handled Froch comfortably. That says a lot. I, like many many others didn't give Froch more than 2 rounds in that fight. Utter domination. But poor Carl was tired eh, been 'on the road for a few nights before'. Never heard such bollocks in my entire life. What did he do, take a sail ship over from Old Blighty? You make it sound like no fighter's ever had a chance of winning away from home. If he was good enough, he would have won, or AT LEAST made it close. But he wasn't on the same level. That's not going to change in Nothingham. But look, I've seen some of your posts. I know your whole thing is to deminish Ward's achievements in the hope of trumping Calzaghe as the greatest SMW ever. You're blatantly obvious.
I think the Ward fight made Froch better. He seemed to improve after that, although I don't think he has improved enough to beat Ward.
Bottom line is nobody gives a flying **** about Ward because quite simply he is the most boring fighter in the world of the last 60 years hands down. If he's so good then let's see him go to Nottingham. It's not like his dull career has much else place to go. If he fought in his mums back yard her neighbours would close the curtains
I think they care about Ward. They just want to see him fight someone good. Froch is a good challenge, but still cannot beat him. Ward should move up and win the light heavyweight crown. I think Froch should move up also.
