He beats Silva more times than not because he's bigger, stronger, 15 years younger, rises to the occasion, has a massive reach advantage which he knows how to use, and has stylistic advantages as well. Silva's one relative weakness is being taken down by strong wrestlers, and Jones ragdolls everyone he's fought. If Silva finds himself on his back, Jones is going to use his vicious elbows to smash Silva into a bloody mess. Maybe Silva finds a way to grab a submission. Maybe he lands something devastating on the feet. But Jones is smart enough that he won't want to stand and trade with the greatest striker ever to compete in MMA. He'll throw him down first chance he gets, and then Silva is in huge trouble. Nobody can count Anderson out in any fight. There's a reason he's considered a top two ATG at minimum. But Jones is not Forrest or Irwin or Bonnar. He's an enormous LHW and quite possibly the most fearsome LHW champion the UFC has seen. He's getting bigger, stronger and more technical fight by fight, and he beats Anderson more times than not. Anderson will be 38 by the time they fight. He's on the downslide while Jones is improving both physically and technically. Happy? :-( :hat
