I don't think either one has ever been down so I think it's a good comparison

I think he was in his chin prime against Lewis.

Vitali has the most overrated chin of this generation of boxers, no doubt it's solid and he can take a punch but how often does he get hit clean even now? as opposed to other fighters say a Froch or Matthysse who prove the durability of their chin consistently.

How many times has Froch been down? Even Dirrell had him all over the place.

Guys has been CLEAN knocked down and fukin hard and being hurt numerous times with guys who cant even punch.

Matthysse is iron chin Froch far away from iron..

    That uppercut stunned him.

vitali has been in 1 or 2 fights where he fought someone who actually connected on him more than once with a good shot. laughable how his chin is considered "iron" when he dwarfs everyone he fights and doesnt get punched in the face.....

Yep, Wach has to be up there...I watched the 8th round again, what a beating he took! Throughout the entire fight really, but especially that 8th round....what a chin.

I got the impression that at times the only reason he went like going was just cause of being exhausted by the beating he took... it was zapping his energy.

But i never really saw him dazed, or stunned or wobbely at any point, his eyes looked pretty clear the whole 12.

Not really sure what Wlad could have done outside of maybe throwing more hooks and uppercuts, Peter was another guy that seemed to eat straight punches like they were nothing.

He really should have tested Wachs body i think.
