    Boxing-Insider
Ricky Hatton says his people are already in talks with team Kahn for a late April early may mega bout hatton said to lenored Potts of boxing-insider that we want Kahn right after Senchenko IM not coming back to boxing for $ IM coming back for championships so next time I leave boxing I do so with a set of belts

so my ? To all of you is if hatton looks decent against Senchenko is it enough to propel him right back into the pac mayweather Kahn marquez Bradley cotto mix? Also what about a Kahn bout in the spring of 2013 assuming he performs well against Senchenko could be interesting at the very least a fun match up:bbb

Younger Hatton could have got the KO

But this old hatton i'm looking at... no way..

Khan @ 147 would just outwork him so badly.

Hatton would gas and just fade too early unable to do anything...

Senchenko is his first target. He has to impress... or he is looking at an early comeback retirement.

Hard to say without seeing what he looks like against Shenchenko, but he does have the stye to cause Khan fits. A Khan who's not even stepped foot into WW yet, remember.

I'm personally against this fight. It's just a huge money-making spin. They know it'll sell out within minutes.

Battle of the chinless wonders. Hatton's probably shot though. Khan by brutal KO early.

do any of agree with me that hatton and his team should not be looking past Shenchenko particulary seeing as this his comeback bout i think that focusing on khan is a big mistake

Looking past an opponent in an upcoming bout has cost many fighters to lose out on a lucrative payday. Hatton needs to concentrate on the task at hand and not look to future bouts. He's been away from the ring for quite some time now, so who knows what he has left to give.

could probable sell out Wembley Stadium i would buy the ppv

but hers the thing lets for the sake of argument say that hatton dose get a fight with kahn and lets just say that he wins said fight were dose that leave him i dont think any one would pay to see him fight pacquiao or mayweather again so what would his options be? marquez peterson jhuda Maybe broner nothing to Appealing IMHO and IMO he could lose any of those 4 fights quite easily what says you?

Classic case of the shot ego fighter ignoring his real challenge, senchenko. Hatton should be quiet and train his heart out to actually beat him

A prime Hatton destroys Khan but I have a feeling he is going to look terrible next weekend. Hopefully he comes through and sets up that fight, I'd go to it, think it would be pretty big over here.

But do you think that a win vs. senchenko gets him a automatic shoot vs. Kahn? IMHO a win vs. senchenko is not enough to justify a big $ payday vs.. Kahn but I know $ talks and a hatton Kahn bout will bring in plenty of it.

I dunno it depends how you look at it, Hatton and Khan are both coming off devastating KO defeats. They are both fighting pretty poor opposition and assuming they both get through then why not, it's a huge fight. I think they need to get it in before one of them get's KO'd again.

If you factor in the 3 year retirement though then yeah I see your point he doesn't really deserve to jump in with Khan after 1 win but I can see both sides.
