I think its widely accepted pac is shot now or at the very least past prime. At 147 i would pick brober over him. There are a few other fighters i wud give the edge over pac aswell right now.
he's never tasted the punch of a welterweight. yea its fine walking down a no power, average boxer like DeMarco, he looks great. dont get me wrong, Broner looks like the complete package right now but calm down
Having done a pretty good job of adopting Mayweather's style -- which we all know is an awkward one -- he'd give most people a problem or two. Not sure if he would Pacquiao, though. He'd be a little too unorthadox for someone who's as inexperienced as Broner.
Broner would fight head-on. Which will be the difference of how a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight would play out. And that difference can be a big downside for Broner; Pacman proved against Bradley he could probably beat anyone clearly not named Mayweather and Marquez; well not including the judges though.
He didn't prove it to me. He didn't look anything special against Bradley. In fact his endurance and punch output seemed completely shot.
I think brober at 160lb would give Martinez probs too and win. I mean brober beat an atg demarco and looked spectacular doing it ffs!
Broner's wide stance would enable Pac to give all sorts of angles, Broner would have pac missing a helluva lot though, different weights though anyway.
This thread highlights everything that is wrong with ESB general forum. Broner did well and got the W but ffs he hasn't fought at 140 nevermind 147 and hasn't been in with fighter who has a fraction of Pacquiao's talent. Pacquiao might be declining but he can still handle 99% of the fighters at 147 and below. Let's give Broner props for getting the W but lets just chill the **** out with this BS now.
lol lets not get carried away... Broner's chin was not tested last nite. He saw everything coming. What he did not see had no power. Pac may look shot but inside, Broner would see alot of power from weird angles.
First big left from Pac and he'd be running like his little chicken dance he does at the end of his fights.
