weight jumping is filled with more problems than it is in boxing gsp moving up to fight silva is a bad move, as is silva moving up for jones jones - silva has more to look forward to for me, but jones comes in as a HW on fight night and even though i'd love to see these 3 fight each other - i dont see it as a good fight for the man moving up $$ will probably make it happen though
The fight won't happen no matter how many empty promises Dana makes to the fans. GSP has NEVER said/shown any motivation to move up to 185 or test himself against Silva. Don't be trolled by what Dana keeps promising year and year.
GSP has the style to beat Silva but I'm afraid ha is too small and his prime has gone. Think about it, Sonnen (a poor version of GSP) lasted nearly 5 rounds with SIlva.
Absolutely. Given the credibility behind MMA weight classes, there is no shame in saying I'm not big enough to compete in a division and that be the end of it. In GSP case there is no doubt that he's maxed out at 170 in size so an extra 10 or 15 pounds is not really needed.
GSP will get hurt bad I don't want em to take the fight. He has no idea on the gap in skill of their striking :verysad Even if he won it would be a boring lay and pray fight. The fight is not good for his image either way.
Not so wise because Hendricks might hurt him more than Silva. He can take Silva down but Hendricks might be able to take him down. Hendricks no joke.. Hes already an ATG for punking both Fitch and Koscheck back to back and reduced them to gatekeeper status. He makes our dreams come true.
