Just STFU with this ignorant thread. Its being reported that Karpency actually told the ref he didn't want to continue due to a sholder injury. Before he came out for that round he also told his corner to pull him out soon cause he felt sick. BTW, Karpency got knocked down twice in this fight and he was behind. A simple google search would save you from jumping the gun here.

 

Why was there a count, and why didn't he get up in 10, and why didn't he protest?

There was no count. The ref waved at him to get up and it took him a few seconds and it wssnt until he was standing in front of the ref it was waved off. He hurt his shoulder.

 

Ridiculous that,IJL should find another job.
He's either letting fighters get beaten half to death or stopping
fights far,far too early for no apparent reason.

 

That guy MUST've told the ref he couldn't continue. He made NO attempt to rise and offered NO protest. Hell, DAWSON QUIT.
