I actually think the Kessler of Calzaghe fight and previous fights is better than the Kessler of the Froch fight. Seems sharper and more accurate.

tbf i know this was started in jest, but is it really that hard to imagine?

if we take out his fights at l.heavy against bhop and rjj, the only one that is debatable is kessler, but lets say that like joe carl got it on his terms in nottingham, is it really that much of a stretch to htink hed win that?

 

Kessler was clearly better in the Calzaghe fight than he was against Froch.

 

Froch would have lost to Kessler, Hopkins at 175, Eubank if he fought him at the same age as Calzaghe. Would have knocked out RJJ though. I'd put him at 43-3 maybe he might have lost once more to one of of Mitchell, Veit, Bika but I very much doubt it.

These are facts, these are irrefutable, deal with it

Calzaghe would have slapped his head off in fact I'm pretty sure If Time Travel was real you could take Joe back to any era of fighting and he would have slapped their heads off. Weather It be Mongolian's, Vikings or Greek's Joe would have ruled.

Froch himself admitted he'd lose a decision to Calzaghe if the fight went the distance and as good a fighter as Froch is he won't be able to KO Calzaghe so he really has no chance against Joe

 

cant see how subjective fantasy match ups are irrefutable fact? i think he'd struggle with Hopkins at 175 as hes not a big SMW whereas BHOP seems comfortable at the weight, he may struggle with Eubank at a young age and thats a tougher Kessler but not an invincible one

 

If Froch runs through Joe's record at the same age Joe faced these opponents?

He would lose to Eubank

Loses to Kessler

And for the record, Calzaghe UD12 Froch if they fought

I Agree ppl think kessler who fought froch in 2010 was the same guy who gave joe those tough 8 rounds, that version of 2007 would likely have stopped froch.
