    Mayweather is the most overrated fighter of all time. I mean the guy can fight and has great work ethic I can't take that away from him but the hype he gets is unreasonable. I also like that he actually fights guys at weight classes that exist but he picks and chooses when to fight them. He is scared to face Pacquiao and Martinez what makes people think he would even face these guys he would have "great chances" against in true atg's. He wouldn't dare touch Duran until he's a fossil.

    Floyd is not even an atg. Who'd he beat? Castillo? Cotto? Both of them had many moments against Floyd but somehow he'd beat Duran easy and outbox Hagler at a weight Floyd will never fight at? Ridiculous. Id also like to see Floyd fight in 5 decades if he's "so much more skilled than Duran". Honestly man, honestly.

    :hi::good

    General is full of idiots. We have to drop facts on them.

    Mayweather isnt an ATG.:lol: Being a top 2 SFW and the only fighter ever to traverse 5 weigh classes undefeated aswell as beating the 2 best lightweights o his era in Corrales and Castillo and he isnt an ATG.

    Let see your top 50.

    Top 50? 50 people aren't doing great in every time that's just silly.

    As far as Mayweather not being atg, he won't dare fight an atg especially in their prime so why should he be one? Closest is Manny and we see his reluctance to fight him. ATG's don't do that. Floyd also does best with part-time fighters and B fighters. Not much of a resume to be getting the hype he does.

    Do people not understand the meaning of "Most skilled" even though i think the TS meant More skilled. How is this even remotely close of a debate....

    If the title says "more ferocious" then Duran would win this...

    None of which you say has anything to do with being an ATG. His resume and skill are ATG. Arguably the greatest SFW ever. 5 division champ. Beat the best at lightweight and Super featherweight. Had 1 debateable victory in his career.

    Undoubtedly AtG fighter and arguable best of his generation. You list his B level opponents. So considering he has the 1st or 2nd at worst top 5 resume ounof the last 15 years why do you even watch boxing?

    Floyd,had Duran beat all the top guys and not lost,I would give him the nod,but reflex abilities,timing etc.. goes to Floyd.. People are confusing skill with career achievements it looks like..

    Yeah Duran didn't have good skill. He didn't slip punches well, didn't roll with shots, didn't throw well-placed combos, cut off the ring, fight effectively at different ranges, use angles well. He was merely a ferocious attacker.

    God I hate the GF sometimes.

    People are showing that they don't really know boxing skill when they see it, actually. Duran was as good as Floyd defensively, he was better offensively, and he was in a different league at integrating the two. He's the best ever in that regard.

    Floyd's brilliant. He's ****ing spectacular. Duran's maybe the most skilled guy we have on film though, and not even Mayweather is that good.
