But Ward cannot attract 10K in Vegas can he? He can barely do that in jOkeland.

30K people at an average of 100 USD is a 'small part'. :rofl

It is small, the purse, the tv contracts, sponsorships and ppv buys all make up a larger share of what a fighter would earn, compared to the gate

We will see who makes the biggest offer if a pursebid is made. Idoubt if it generates more money in the US. As I've already said Kessler made more fighting Allan Green than Ward did against Dawson. That should indicate what amount Ward/Goosen has to offer as I doubt Kessler will be a bigger draw in the US than Dawson.

To throw a little more figures for your ignorant ass I can inform you that Kessler - Calzaghe generated 2½M USD for the promotor. I'm quite sure that Kessler-Ward will sell better than that.

    3 Arena's in the UK that hold 20000 +

2 Covered stadiums that could accomodate 75000,and 90000 without utilising pitch space seating.

At least 40 football stadiums that could hold 50000 once pitch seating is installed, and many that could hold almost twice that.

Hatton and Calzaghe have both had 50000+ crowds
    Eubank vs Benn had 40000+

Because the overall PPV money from the U.S. fans would probably generate more money than the 50k in the stadium and their PPV.

Kessler fought Calzaghe in front of 50,000 fans in Cardiff in Nov 2007, and the PPV numbers in the U.K. were also pretty good. But outside of Europe, that fight wasn't big news.

In May of that year, De la Hoya fought Floyd in Vegas in front of around only 16,000 fans. But it was the biggest grossing fight of all time!

All the biggest fights in the World happen in Vegas in front of around 16,000 fans.

If Floyd ever fights Manny, it will probably be in Vegas.

If the gate was that important, all the fights would be held in NFL stadiums.

Chisora vs Haye had a bigger gate than Oscar vs Floyd.

Hi mate, I don't think so.

The PPV audience in America is huge!

How many people in the U.S. would be interested in seeing Ward fight a guy who he's already beaten in Denmark?

What time would the fight be on?

In Denmark, they'd fight in front of 40,000 and they'd have good PPV money. But Denmark is only a small Country.

Pavlik is popular with fight fans in America. They like his style, and I think a fight between him and Ward would do good PPV numbers. I think that a lot of casual fans will buy into the Ward-Pavlik promotion.

If it does well, it will easily eclipse the money generated in Denmark.

So, I believe that Ward would earn more money fighting Pavlik in the U.S. depending on what the terms of the contract are.

But a good split of American PPV, would definitely be better than a good split of the gate in Denmark and their PPV. The numbers in the U.S. would be much higher, so he should make a lot more.

Ward is not afraid of travelling because he couldnt grab his passport quick enough when Pascal vacated his title to fight Froch in the UK in a proper challenge for a foreign warrior :yep .......... he rushed to the passport office excited to face Jerson Ravelo in the Cayman Islands to steal the belt  :rofl

He does not want to face these warriors in a fervent hostile atmosphere where he cannot think straight but will happily trot off to the Caribbean to fight bums like Roger Cantrell in idyllic tranquil settings :rofl:rofl:rofl

You know what S.O.G really stands for ??????

    Sven. Ottke''s . Gameplan :lol::lol::lol:

He should come out to "Home On The Range" for his entrances

Not for andre ward it isn't.. Floydmayweather he is not

The fight being held in America means it is no more ppv worthy, folk in the states i doubt would be that interested in the fight wherever it was. Kessler is massive in Denmark and well supported around europe. PPV and a big venue is all alls that is needed.

And it wouldn't be the first time that they put a fight on in europe at a time that fits in with the USA fans would it?

Ward had the guts to fight Kessler after just 20 fights and as a huge underdog. Who was Kessler fighting in his 21st fight?

Not many I think. Ward is not a big draw in himself.

    Probably aroun midnight.

I doubt very much that Ward-Kessler is PPV material in the US. Therefore it is in Denmark the most tv money are.

That's very possible. Big and easy money for Ward.

Very possible. If it is PPV that is. If not he'd probably make less than he did against Dawson.
