Why didn't they put it on the Hatton card?

Who else is on this bill? Surely not just Flintoff?

Denton Vassell/Ronnie Heffron which is actually a pretty good matchup.

I think the mentality behind it would've been to get in all the casual footy fans who know **** all and chant there's only one freddie flintoff all night similarly to Hattons "barmy army", however if this is the case i really can't understand having it on the week after the Hatton fight.

£60 hatton ticket, £50 for Man City game, £200 in booze and kebabs, and then Flintoff tickets on top of that??? how much do they think labourers and spade leaners earn?

Are you all sure the fact that this fight isn't selling is because simply, neither true boxing fans or even casual fans are interested in this farce PR event?

Most people aren't stupid, they know that this whole thing in nothing truly worth seeing. All it is some Z-lister "fighting" some no mark who's only turning up for his pay cheque.

I hope not a soul turns up for this event because hopefully that will convince Flintoff, McGuigan and the other mugs who are organising this that their stunt is a load of bollocks, they jack it in and leave boxing well enough alone.

Bet Flintoff was thinking he'd beat a few pregnant latvians in big arenas and earn a good wedge and get out early, not gonna happen I'm afraid, his celebrity status means **** all in boxing, he'll have to earn the respect of boxing fans, which won't happen.

based on the fact that he hasnt boxed before.....this isn't too far removed from an over-hyped celebrity white collar boxing match

Apparently they're looking at 5000, surprised its getting that many, only realised today that Flintoff fight is 3 rounds.
