Not aware what his whole story is. Is he from a boxing background and been a prodigy since he could walk or is he more the kid who was eventually brought into a gym after wuppin' some dude???

ye i'd agree, he'll come unstuck eventually against a technically sound fighter.......or maybe i'll be proved wrong, they **** talked floyd his whole career so we should probably learn from that and not make the same mistake twice.

Still good for the sport imo.....

Boxing since about 8 years old. Extensive amateur background.

    Failed to make Olympic team.

    "Helava" pro though.

I don't think he failed to make the Olympic team, he went to jail before the Olympics in 2008.

I think he's been trained by Mike Stafford for years, and Stafford is a legend in the midwest, and has trained tons of ameteur greats. Broner's his best protege.

Hes been a pro since he was 18.

Lots of American boxers dont seem to be too concerned with the Olympics. Medals dont pay the rent etc etc.
