His style is perfect for it and not to mention he could hit a hard as he possibly could because he wouldn't have to worry about his wrists breaking as he said he hit guys high on the head a lot and knocked them out and nothing happened to his wrists so his power would be there, just thought of this for some weird reason, would anybody be able to beat him in a bare knuckle fight ? he would have been runied after a few fights due to his wild swings hitting guys on the top of the head...hands would have broken to bits..and he would have been done.
Who knows though he might of changed that if he was using no gloves, but there isn't anybody you can think of that could legitimatley beat him?
Would expect great bare knuckle champions of the past would have a shot since that was the way they fought all the time.
watch him swining on Joe Roman...he hits the top of the guys head multiple times...he would have to change that **** big or else he would be a one and done fighter.
However Foreman was a beast. Make no mistake. He was a human wrecking ball in his prime. Great chin, durable, tremendous will to win and killer instinct. Ko power in every punch and a telephone pole jab. Physically possibly the strongest hwt champion he was a force of nature in the ring with deceptively quick hands and a great ability to cut the ring off on a retreating opponent. The night he fought Norton as well as Ali not many fighters in boxing history could have stood up to him.
Could anybody have beaten him though ?? With his tremendous power he would have just pushed around guys he was more of a street fighter than a boxer in his prime and i don't think many people would have a chance to beat him.
