Surprised no one is talking about Trout's plan to outjab Cotto. I think he is going to run once Miguel starts tagging him on the inside with his own jab...

I like how the last article talked about how the focus is on changing the range. Extremely important, as Cotto will have to control things on the outside and be able to engage his offense on the inside at will.

It seems logical on paper, but the way Cotto steps in with his jab and times it so well makes it harder for taller and longer fighters to have success with it. Trout will probably want to control the center (unlike Floyd), which is smart, but ultimately Cotto will probably prove the superior ring general.

Well, IMHO I think that Trout will try to take advantage of his range. He will also try to clich after a combo trying to take away from Cotto counter punching ability.

I also belive that he will try to (belive it or not) presure Cotto. Nobody is expecting him to do so. He will play and attempt to pressure and see how that goes. He will attempt to take advantage of his size, presure and clinch.

For Miguel to be effective, he must be ready to fight in the middle of the ring, be able to counter a pressure fight and be agressive and prepared to fight on the inside. He must attack the body early. He also needs to watch for Trout's faint, step and turn.

Austin stated several times that he will get "dirty" I take that as he will attempt to pressure and clinch and we know he can clich we all seen it.

Cotto being able to fight on the outside, inside and attacking the body early will be key to his sucess.

    War Cotto!

Its not really that (IMO) it may sound like that because he is so reserved in the way the talks. I wish he would express/talk more. Hell, its in Spanish! He should be able to speak his mind in a more direct/open way.
