Lee spent basically his whole life in Limerick after his family moved back to Ireland, when he was a child.

If Macklin wants to say he is Irish, more power to him too.

 

I don't give a **** who is from where, I just want to see this fight! If HBO is smart they would make this fight and if possible have Pirog vs Rubio on the undercard. I would prefer GGG vs Pirog but I think Golo has a fight early next year.

 

Macklin easily wins this.

 

Macklin will beat the **** out of Lee.

Lee is literally the stiffest boxer I've ever seen, I don't think I've ever seen him move his head or at the waist during a fight.

 

Damn good fight. Lee on the outside when he gets his jab going setting up powershots is a force to reckon. Too bad he can't keep it going for 12 tho, I think Macklin might climb off the canvas on this one and outwork Lee on the inside to a unanimous decision. I think Lee is the better puncher here, but Macklin the better fighter. I think Lee needs to find that killer instinct and go Tommy Hearns on his opponents. He seems to lack some confidence in himself, aside from chin. Lacks fluidity and side to side movement.
