Seems like a matchup more natural than most that could have occurred at anytime over several years and in two classes. Why didn't it happen?
I think HW is the only realistic time the fight could happen - Haye had announced his move to HW before Adamek had even fought a CW title eliminator iirc. I don't know why it hasn't happened at HW - would be a great fight at the 02 in London where there is a huge Polish community. Perhaps both guys where deemed too much of a risk to each other and may have derailed their chances of a K2 fight? Haye wins by KO though.
When could it have occured? At cruiserweight? Haye beat Enzo in March 2008 & had already announced he was moving up to HW. Adamek beat Cunningham for the IBF title in December 2008. At Heavyweight? Adamek made his debut vs Golata a few months before Haye beat Valuev. Adamek wasnt ranked that highly with the WBA & Haye went after Wlad whilst Adamek went after Vitali.
CW: already mentioned. HW: Haye didn't react at all when Tomasz challeged him. And Haye can get away with that because he wins every mythical matchup he isn't in according to his fans.
Talk about jumping the gun. atsch guess what genuis, there's more than Polish fight fans who don't care for Haye. But, maybe you can give us a synopsis as to why it never happened, since you seem to think one cannot say Haye ducked him? So far, you're the only one crying like a ***** in this thread. Read what guys have said before coming off like a twat.
you can't blame the Poles for that... they would be right. although I really believe Haye would win if they fought.
oh, right, Haye never ducked anyone in his career, that's why his best win is a close tie with an ageing Valuev and domestic level contender Chisora
It's hardly rocket science, isn't it? The only thing that keeps Adamek alive at HW is his superior speed to most fatasses he fights and Haye totally kills him in that department.
