he likes to own the titles. or likes to own the fighters that win the titles. contracted fighters get the shots against his champions. only probable losers are uncontracted opponents. thats how he makes his money. by keeping the titles with his contracted fighters.
good point. mark cost him nothing. mark is there to be used if he wants him. obviously he doesnt want him. the time of a great white hope has past. he cant even sell him as such.. anyway, demori is a mere shadow of a good white heavyweight these days. there are better anglo heavies in oz that demri is scared of. .
I have the feeling he'll fight at least one more shot to **** American. Probably someone along the lines of a Bert Cooper.
