Don't know why he denied knowing what it is when one of his very close associates, Don Hale, owns numerous TRT clinics in America. ****, he's known him since he first turned pro. Don was his manager to begin with, I think.

 

TRT is the the common way for combat sportsmen to cheat in this day and age. It allows an athlete to use artificial test to boost their testosterone levels to the maximum allowed in whichever state they're fighting in.

The average person has a testosterone to epitestosterone ratio of 1:1. However, states like Nevada allow a fighter to have a ratio if around 5:1 - 5 times the level of the average person!!! This is why carbon isotope ratio testing is key, because it does not measure the testosterone levels, but whether or not the testosterone is naturally produced or artificial.

As I understand it, VADA perform CIR testing on all samples (which is who Peterson was busted) whilst USADA only use it in certain circumstances.
