Not what I'm saying at all Shaun. I'm saying, everything I've heard about PEDs would suggest that JMM should have been able to retain his speed and power while moving up to a heavier weight, despite putting on added muscle. This is always the charge laid against Pacquaio when accused of PED use.. But it's just not the case for JMM if you watch the 3rd Pacquaio fight. In both previous fights he was able to stun and hurt Pacquiao at various points. In the 3rd fight, despite hitting him with some great single shots and combo's, he couldn't move Pacquiao at all, he never looked troubled. As for his speed, he looked visibly slower in that fight, don't care what anyone says on that. Again, I'm not saying he should have had Tyson's power and Donaire's speed if he was on PEDs, but I'm saying he should have been able to retain what power and speed he did have while moving up, and that wasn't the case.

Look at my previous post. His training for that fight was an utter shambles. Lifting rocks and drinking ****. Look at his body from previous fights to that one, he was in far, far better shape. I've actually never seen him look as bad at weigh in. You know why? Because it was his first fight above super lightweight. It often takes fighters a fight to adjust to a new weight division.

I know you have a cynical view of the fight game in the modern age, and in many ways you're right to. But I'm just not seeing it in this case.

I have read it Shaun. Things a man has done in his past doesn't nessesarily reflect on what he's doing now. He's also an excellent conditioning coach who's worked with Olympic athletes. As you say, PEDs aren't a wonder drug, he obviously also has the knowledge of nutrition, conditioning etc to get to work with athletes like that in the first place. Why's it so hard to believe that JMM's team hired him for those reasons alone, and not his regrettable past with PED's?

Last time they fought when I'm sure neither one was on PED's, Pac knocked JMM 3 times. Yep, JMM sure is knocking Pac out if both were 100% clean...

It could be for those reasons alone, but then you add everything up and you would literally have to be turning a blind eye to think he's not on it, similar to how some Mexicans still clinged on to Margarito is innocent in the aftermath and it was all Capitello.

Just put all the pieces together. Why did they try to hide Heredia true identity? How then if they didn't know Heredia as he did not disclose his true name, knew he was a good S&C coach? Where did he get his reputation from? Heredia previous to JMM has never worked with a boxer before. He built his reputation by supplying athletes from different sports PED's. So you're essentially telling me that team JMM hired this S&C guy who just came out of jail, dont know his past as he tries to hide his real name, has never worked with a boxer before.

All this at convenient timing too, add into that, that JMM probably believes Pac himself is on roids, he needs to go up in weight, he saw what PED's may have done for Pac moving up in weight and so he followed suit. Then he looks like this.

There is more evidence towards JMM than any other fighter in the sport apart from those caught IMO. That includes Pac, FMJ, Donaire, Ward. At least Conte didnt try to hide his identity as Heredia did, and also we haven't seen Ward or Donaire looking that much bigger and ripped going up in weight coming to their 40's. Even Pac who looks ripped now looks less ripped in higher weights and older. Fighters generally carry more fat as they age...instead JMM is huge and ripped going into his 40's.

What's more likely. They hired him for PED use with the entire world watching and knowing all about Heredia's past, while all the time offering random drug testing.

Or, they hired him because he's an excellent conditioning coach who's worked with Olympic athletes and the very slight differences in his body are down to new training regimes with him that are light years ahead of the rock lifting and **** drinking he was doing. Alex Ariza pointed this out himself.

I know which is more likely.

You ever heard of Occam's razor? :deal

Joe, the 'offering drugs testing' thing is rubbish though, the most transparent bluff ever - Who was going to call him out on that? Pacquiao? The man who turned down the richest fight in history over random testing? There was literally no one who was going to put drugs testing in place. Governing bodies - don't give a ****. State Athletic Commissions - Don't give a ****. Top Rank - really don't give a ****. And, even if someone did call his bluff and put more rigorous testing in place - so what, he has the guy who claims to have invented 20 different undetectable drugs working for him.

Heredia is a chemist, PED expert and distributor. That's his profession. That's why people pay him and that's how he earns his money. If you're one of the leading experts on PEDS, you don't go and earn less money as a bog standard S&C coach when you could earn much better money utilising your expertise.

Yes, and Occam's razor would suggest that if you hire one of the foremost experts and distributors of PEDs to your training camp and try to hide his true identity then you are going to use him for that purpose.

You're not going to employ him to do a job that any number of other strength and conditioning coaches could do, especially ones who have worked with boxers before, for less money.

Thats the point, the entire world didn't know his past, and they did not offer random testing. It was only AFTER Heredia was exposed because he hid his real name in the first place, of course then they were gonna say "hey I'm innocent, I'll even test despite me bragging about 20 undetectable drugs". The fact that they tried to hide his identity and has never worked with a boxer before, and it came at a time when JMM was fighting Pac, a suspect PED user is all too convenient combination of events.
